Michael Verbitsky

Founder & interim CEO, Gold Standard of Care

Michael Verbitsky is a healthcare entrepreneur that’s participated as founder or principal in nearly a dozen healthcare ventures for the past 20 yrs… Some earlier startups included pharmacies, wellness clinics, and long-term care pharmacy., Michael founded Gold Standard of Care in 2008 and has been involved with seniors living real estate assets.
As GSC grew through acquisition, Michael concentrated on formation and development of team talent. He’s leveraged that team to disrupt the senior living industry through a philosophy of lean modeling and creative thinking centered on execution.
In 2016, Michael helped steer GSC into proprietary construction design by constructing a ground-up expansion to the company’s Miami property. Since then, his team creatively transformed GSC’s portfolio of communities using design concepts that disrupt the traditional look and feel of seniors living, further creating value for GSCs stakeholders; and earned the company a spot-on Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing companies.
While many in South Florida proclaim to be turnaround experts, Gold Standard of Care’s team is consistent and has a proven track record that is tough to overlook.
